Part Time Position (Monday-Friday 9:00AM-1:00PM)
Position Start Date: November 1st, 2025
Job Description:
The Senior Center Head Cook prepares and serves lunch and snacks as per a pre-existing menu based on NYC Aging/Department for the Aging nutritional guidelines. The Head Cook is responsible for assisting in the maintenance and cleanliness of the kitchen and related facilities and equipment. In addition, the Head Cook will have responsibility for oversight and training of kitchen staff/volunteers to observe adequate sanitation standards and food preparation methods.

The Assistant Cook is responsible for assisting in the maintenance, sanitation and cleanliness of the kitchen and related facilities and equipment.
